Shibuya ULTIMA CPX III Compound Sight
The Shibuya ULTIMA CPX III Compound Sight is Shibuya’s flagship target sight for compound archery, developed for archers who demand uncompromising precision, durability, and reliability. Built around a lightweight carbon extension and precision-machined aluminium components, the CPX III delivers smooth, repeatable adjustments while maintaining exceptional rigidity throughout every shot.
Designed using years of feedback from elite archers worldwide, the ULTIMA CPX III introduces several innovative technologies, including the ZPE System, Tria-Lock System, and X-Lock System. Together, these features create one of the most stable and accurate compound sights available today.
Zero Play Elevation (ZPE) System
The patented ZPE (Zero Play Elimination) System removes backlash from the elevation mechanism by eliminating any gap between the threaded locking block and the aperture block. As a result, every elevation adjustment remains smooth, accurate, and completely repeatable.
Furthermore, the aluminium wedge secured by Nord-Lock® washers maintains long-term precision even after thousands of adjustments.
Innovative Tria-Lock System
The exclusive Tria-Lock System supports the scope rod from three sides, positioning it approximately half an inch closer to the elevation bar than conventional compound sights. Consequently, it reduces leverage on the windage unit, minimizes vibration, and creates an exceptionally rigid aiming platform.
X-Lock Zero-Tolerance Design
Shibuya’s proven X-Lock System eliminates movement between the windage unit and elevation frame using adjustable polyacetal guide spacers. Therefore, the sight maintains zero play while allowing future adjustments whenever required.
Laser-Engraved Metal Sight Scale
The elevation bar features recessed metal sight scale plates on both sides for outstanding durability. Each sight includes a blank plate and reference scale, while optional double-sided sight tapes provide multiple customized sight marks for different shooting setups.
Precision Compound Performance
The ULTIMA CPX III offers ultra-fine click adjustments of approximately 0.05 mm per click for both elevation and windage. In addition, both the 2nd and 3rd axis are fully adjustable, allowing archers to achieve perfect sight alignment.
